Research award by Fundación hna
Fundación hna has awarded Dr. Oriol Dols-Icardo the prize of the first edition of the “Premio de Investigación Científica de Salud“. This is a competitive call for funding a research project on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), in which a total of 19 proposals have been submitted. The project funded by the foundation and led by Dr. Oriol Dols-Icardo is entitled “Longitudinal study of the role of peripheral immune cells in the evolution of ALS“. In this project, Dr. Dols-Icardo will study alterations in peripheral immune cells during the evolution of ALS using single-cell RNA sequencing technologies.
