Dr. Illán-Gala has been selected as an “Atlantic Fellow” in the GBHI program

Dr. Ignacio Illán-Gala has been selected as one of the “Atlantic Fellows” of the Global Brain Health Institute (GBHI) in 2019. The objective of this program, coordinated by the University of California San Francisco and Trinity College Dublin, is to promote brain health globally by training a network of future leaders in brain health. The program will finance a stay of at least one year at the Memory and Aging Center at the University of California, San Francisco.

Participants in the GBHI program will carry out clinical evaluations at the center, participate in multidisciplinary classes at the university and develop a project aimed at improving brain health that will receive funding. Dr. Illán-Gala’s project will focus specifically on improving the diagnosis and multidisciplinary follow-up of patients with frontotemporal dementia in our country.
