Benjamin Buehner, is a german-canadian student who did his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at Queen’s University, in Canada. He is experienced on Sclerosis and Gut-Brain-Axis research.
Natalia López is from Albacete. She studied her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology in Murcia and did her thesis on cognitive biomarkers in prodromal Huntington’s disease. She also studied a Master’s degree in Neuropsychology, focusing on the pharmacological effects in the cognitive domain in patients with Huntington’s disease.
Irina Aragón was born in Neuquen, a city in Patagonia, Argentina. She studied Psychology and, for the last five years, has worked as a neuropsychologist at the Institute of Neurosciences of the Favaloro Foundation in Buenos Aires. She has done some research work and, last year 2022, published a paper in the International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry.
Nayeli Guzmán, native of Mexico, studied Clinical Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Neuropsychology in Spain. She has worked as a therapist and neuropsychologist in psychiatric hospitals, doing cognitive and clinical assessments. She also has experience in cognitive stimulation and cognitive behavior therapy in children.
Danna Perlaza grew up in Alicante and studied his degree in Genetics at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her thesis was focused on current disease-modifying therapies under study for Alzheimer’s Disease.
Borja Moya studied Biology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and then completed a Degree in Translational Biomedical Research at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR). At the VHIR he also did an internship in the Diabetes and Metabolism group.
Carolina Vásquez, from Santiago de Chile, is a speech therapist with a Diploma in Neuropsychology and Neuropsychiatry. She specialized in mental health and adults. Seven years ago she started her professional career at the Maipú Public Mental Health Center (COSAM) and the last two years at RED GESAM. She has carried out projects for adults with hearing problems, such as the “Leo Labios” app. She has focused her career in the area of dementia, where she is currently working and specializing.
Eric Fernández was born in Barcelona. He studied Psychology at the University of Vic and finished his degree in 2022. He decided to join the Memory Unit because he believes he will be able to understand how language can impact behavior and how these alterations will appear in neurodegenerative diseases. Likewise, he believes that language can be an area of intervention to improve and reduce the development of the disease.
Anna Campabadal is from Lloret de Mar, located on the Costa Brava. She studied Psychology at the University of Barcelona (UB) and did a 3-year internship as part of her Master’s in Clinical Neuropsychology in children and adults at the Parc Taulí Neurology Service as a clinical neuropsychologist. She did a Master’s in Neurosciences at the UB and a doctorate in Medicine and Translational Research. Her PhD focused on MRI and cognitive changes associated with REM sleep behavioral disorders isolated as the premotor stage of alpha-synucleinopathies.
Itzel Prado, is a biochemical engineer from Mexico. She has experience in molecular medicine focused on the analysis of genetic expression, as she has contributed to cancer and preeclampsia projects.
