Maria Pinart Corominola graduated in Speech Therapy from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2025. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Neuroscience at the UAB. She joined the Sant Pau Memory Unit in May 2026, where she develops her clinical work in the rehabilitation of language and speech in patients with primary progressive aphasia. Her research interests focus on how neurodegeneration influences language and learning.
She is also part of the language team of the Memory Unit led by Dr. Miguel Ángel Santos Santos, collaborating with the Research Laboratory in Aphasia and Multilingual Dementia directed by Dr. Stephanie Grasso and Dr. Maya Henry from the University of Texas Austin.
