Sofia Segura Pellicer holds a degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona and a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from the International University of Valencia. In 2025, she completed a master’s internship at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau in the field of neuroimaging, which involved a research project to implement a method for cerebral venous quantification in Magnetic Resonance images, under the supervision of Dr Josep Munuera and Dr Mateus Rozalem. Her interest in this field stems from her passion for integrating science and health.
In 2025, she joined the Memory Unit of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau as a research technician, providing support in the acquisition, quality control, preprocessing, analysis, and management of neuroimaging data (MRI and PET).
