Joaquim Aumatell is a graduate in Biology from the Universitat de Vic (UVic-UCC). Subsequently, he completed a master’s degree in Omics Data Analysis at the same university. During this, he was able to carry out his master’s thesis on the effect of air pollutants (NO2, PM2.5, PM10, and PM2.5 Abs) on placental methylation and the potential associations these impacts may have on biological pathways at ISGlobal Barcelona. In December 2022, he joined the Memory Unit to perform tasks related to microscopy image processing in Array Tomography and Neuropathology projects, as well as to provide support in Omics data analysis.
