Dr. Rodríguez-Baz completed his Bachelor’s degree in Medicine at the University of Salamanca in 2016 and his neurology residency at the Hospital de Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 2021. During this period, he gained extensive experience in both clinical and research practice, leading several research projects that culminated in the completion of his Doctoral Thesis in cerebrovascular pathology in 2024. As part of his complementary development, in 2021, he completed a training stay at the Alzheimer and Other Cognitive Disorders Unit at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona, gaining experience in translational research. Since 2022, he has been involved in pioneering research on neurodegenerative diseases, focusing on the discovery of early biomarkers. Supported by a Rio Hortega grant since 2023, his work continues to advance the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions.
