Daisy Guamán Pilco is a PhD in Translational Neuroscience with strong expertise in international research project management. She currently serves as Project Manager of the SYNAPSING project, led by Dr. Olivia Belbin, overseeing scientific coordination, administrative management, and consortium follow-up activities.
She completed her doctoral training at the Vall d’Hebron Institute of Research (VHIR), within the Neurovascular Diseases Research Group, focusing on cerebrovascular biomarkers and large human cohort analysis. Her profile combines solid scientific training with extensive experience in translational research and multicenter project coordination.
She is currently part of the International Grants Unit at Institut de Recerca Sant Pau, where she supports the development, strategic planning, and coordination of competitive research proposals across multiple scientific domains.
