Borja Moya Llamas graduated in Biology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2021. In 2022, he completed his first master’s degree in Translational Biomedical Research at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute, and the following year, he obtained a second master’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Barcelona. During this program, he joined the Memory Unit of the Neurology Service at the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, where he conducted his master’s thesis on synaptic autophagy and tau in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. He later worked as a research assistant at Aelysia, specializing in image analysis for neuroscience projects in both academia and industry. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Neuroscience at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, focusing his research on Alzheimer’s disease.
