Valèria Alcántara Aubareda graduated with a degree in Psychology, specialising in Health Psychology, from the University of Barcelona (UB) in 2024. She completed her clinical internship in the field of Clinical Neuropsychology and Health Psychology at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, where she focused her bachelor’s thesis on the differential diagnosis between Lewy body dementia and Parkinson’s disease through the study of a clinical case.
In 2024, she began the “Master’s Degree in Neuropsychology: Diagnosis and Rehabilitation” at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), where she is currently in her second and final year. She is also completing her internship at the Memory Unit of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau.
She recently joined the Pharmacogenomics and Neurovascular Genetics Group, where she works on the CADASIL research line, conducting neuropsychological assessments of these patients and assisting with data entry tasks.
