Dr. Julia Peris pursued her degree in Medicine at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (faculty of the Hospital del Mar) between 2014 and 2020. She later specialized in Neurology at Hospital del Mar, Barcelona (2021–2025). During her residency training, she completed an observership at the Memory and Aging Center (San Francisco, USA) with Dr Bruce Miller. In January 2026, she joined the Memory Unit at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau as a predoctoral neurologist, combining clinical and research activities in the field of neurodegenerative disorders.
