Xuanyang Bai

Xuanyang BaiXuanyang Bai obtained her Master’s degree in Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology, from China Medical University in 2023. She is currently pursuing her PhD at the Sant Pau Memory Unit under the supervision of Dr. Olivia Belbin. Her research focuses on the genetic and pathological mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease, with particular interest in the role of miRNAs in synaptic dysfunction, astrocyte-derived extracellular vesicle (ADEV) delivery, and neuroinflammation. Prior to her PhD, she participated in several epidemiological research projects on infectious and neurodegenerative diseases at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. She has a multidisciplinary background that includes bioinformatics, epidemiological statistics, and experimental techniques.
