Jesús Garcia Castro graduated in Medicine from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2018. He completed the specialized training in Neurology at Hospital Universitario La Paz in Madrid between the years 2019 and 2023. During his formative years, he developed great interest in the study of neurodegenerative cognitive impairment, completing a training stay in 2022 at the UK Dementia Research Institute at Imperial College London. Subsequently he worked at Fundació ACE and in January 2024, he joined the Memory Unit of Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau after obtaining a Río Hortega grant, where he performs clinical and research activity, especially focused on frontotemporal lobar degeneration syndromes.
