Mireia Carreras graduated as a nurse in 2018 from the EUIT (UAB) university. Her professional career began at the Mútua de Terrassa University Hospital, where she worked in various departments: oncology and hematology, internal medicine, general surgery, traumatology, neurology, and pulmonology. Later, she completed the Master’s Degree in Clinical Trial Management and Monitoring at TECH Technological University.
In February 2023, she started working as a research nurse at the Sant Pau Research Institute in the Movement Disorders Unit. She is currently working as a nurse in the Memory Unit, participating in clinical trials and observational studies.
