Natalia Valle

Natalia Valle-Sant Pau Memory Unit Alzheimer-BarcelonaNatalia Valle Tamayo received her degree in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Barcelona in 2019. During the final year of her degree, she did an internship at the University of Leicester (UK) in the Neuroscience, Psychology and Behaviour laboratory, where she carried out her final degree project on the study of the early stages of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. In 2020 she obtained a Master’s degree in Translational Biomedical Research at the Vall d’Hebron Research Institute (VHIR) and during the same year she joined the Sant Pau Memory Unit (Barcelona) to study neurodegeneration and inflammation biomarkers in Alzheimer’s disease and Down’s syndrome. Currently, Natalia Valle is coursing her PhD in Neurosciences at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, focusing her research on the use of extracellular vesicles as a new platform for the study of biomarkers and therapeutic targets in Alzheimer’s disease.
