María Belén Sánchez Saudinós graduated in Clinical Psychology from the University Complutense of Madrid (UCM) in 1995 and obtained the title of researcher in 1997. In 1998, she qualified with a Masters in Cognitive Neuropsychology and Behavioral Neurology from the Department of Basic Psychology (Cognitive Processes) at the UCM and the Spanish Society of Cognitive Neurology. She was later recognized as an expert in Clinical Neuropsychology by the Official College of Psychologists of Catalonia. After working as a neuropsychologist at the Gómez Ulla Military Hospital, in 2002 she moved to the University Clinic of Navarra, where she worked as a clinical and basic researcher. Since December 2004, her focus has been on developing tools for the assessment and diagnosis of cognitive function in patients with memory disorders. Moreover, she has participated in several clinical research projects aimed at the study of the etiology, prevention and early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, in the Memory Unit of the Department of Neurology of the Santa Creu i Sant Pau Hospital. Since 2014, she has also collaborated with the Autonomous University of Barcelona as a trainee teacher.
